About the Department

Our planet is flooded by a digital and multimedia world which is full of ethically conflicting information. While calling ourselves specialists in the ethical dimension of media communication what do we need to know in order to face the digital world and to keep our own identities? The Department of Communication Studies deals with the topic of media ethics with the aim to promote sustainable communication. We develop competencies to communicate ethically problematic content, focusing on writing, copywriting, photography, video production, web production and social media. We develop the art of crisis communication.
