About the Department
The Department of Pastoral and Social Theology is concerned with reflections on pastoral practice in the context of the life of contemporary society and the spiritual themes which are connected with it. The Department is internally divided into three sections (Pastoral Theology, Spirituality and the Study of the Christian East). The Department is focused on teaching in all of the study subjects secured by CMTF. The doctoral programme provides a specialization in the area of pastoral and spiritual theology and the study of the Christian East. The Department is linked with the research centre IMEVD (Institute of Intercultural, Interreligious and Ecumenical Research and Dialogue).
