Course Overview
This Erasmus BIP course focuses on the importance of personal development and life skills in today’s world. Participants will gain essential knowledge and practical tools to apply life skills in a multicultural environment, they will improve their persuasion and negotiation abilities, and learn how to combat prejudice against diverse groups.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Understanding the role of personal development in primary prevention.
- Developing communication skills for persuasion, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Training in critical thinking within cultural change contexts.
- Learning about arguments and fallacies based on Dahmer’s theory.
- Gaining strategies to address biases towards marginalized groups.
Structure & Requirements
- Credits: 3 ECTS
- Format: Online sessions + in-person BIP in Olomouc
- Participation: Active engagement in online meetings and final project presentation
- Online Platform: MOODLE (accessible from 3rd March 2025)
